A Baseball Ace at the Helm
Bringing Passion and Team Spirit to the Shop Floor

Sogawa Noriko, acting manager of the Toyoura Industry Promotion Corporation, is a Toyoura native and former girls’ baseball pitcher. She began playing in Year 4 of elementary school and led her Sapporo club team to a third-place finish at a national tournament.

She now brings that same team spirit to her work, curating local delights such as: Umami Mugibuta premium pork raised on specially blended feed, fresh coastal scallops, and authentic wasabi.

Sweet Tastes & Scenic Views
Strawberry Soft Serve Made with 100% Local Jam

The shop’s two signature dishes are the strawberry soft serve and Hotate Furai-kyu boiled scallops skewered and deep-fried. The soft serve, blended with 100% Toyoura-made jam, strikes a perfect balance between sweetness and tartness.

Also, the scenery is just as delightful. From the rolling pastures of Takaoka area to the shimmering waters of Funka Bay, known for scallop farming, Toyoura offers views that soothe the soul.
