Alongside the prefectural road Takinomachi-Date Line in the Tatsuka area of Sobetsu Town, Tamago Caf\u00e9, run by Tatsukarm<\/em> farm, welcomes guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The caf\u00e9 is popular with locals and visitors alike for its wholesome lunches made from organic vegetables and free-range, fertilised eggs, all sourced from their own farm.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Hagiwara Haruka, the second-generation manager of Tamago Caf\u00e9, is originally from Tokyo. She studied performing arts in New York, learning to express language through movement. Later, in Europe, she volunteered in care homes, supporting those who need care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now part of Tatsukarm team, she works in a workplace where people with and without disabilities can thrive. Together, they grow fresh ingredients and prepare meals that bring joy to every customer.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

From the caf\u00e9\u2019s windows, you can admire the dramatic peaks of Mt Showa-Shinzan and Mt Usu while enjoying a taste of “mum\u2019s home cooking”. Popular menu include rolled Japanese omelettes and homemade sweets; fertilised eggs and ready-to-eat chicken curry are available at the caf\u00e9\u2019s small shops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When off-duty, Hagiwara finds comfort in the landscapes around Mt Usu. She loves walking her dog Cocoa by Lake Toya or at the Toyako Eruption Memorial Park. Why not embrace both the good food and great views?<\/p>\n<\/div>
