Head southwest along National Route 37 from Toyako Town towards Hakodate, and you\u2019ll soon reach Toyoura, a town known for strawberries and pork. Right along the highway sits Berry Farm Toyoura, a visitor-friendly farm with a twist\u2015rows of sweet, ripe blueberries waiting to be picked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Waddling call ducks welcome you at the entrance, and the barrier-free farm is fully accessible to prams and wheelchairs. It is a place where everyone, regardless of age or mobility, can enjoy the outdoors.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Farm owner Kamoi Satoshi has a unique background. Originally from Okayama Prefecture, he first worked as an IT engineer, then later as an English teacher. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The farm uses hydroponics to make harvesting easy for everyone. Blueberry season runs from mid-July to early September. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The farm\u2019s popular experience is the hassle-free BBQ. You need no preparation, no cleanup: just book, turn up, and enjoy. You can also relax at the farm caf\u00e9, with freshly roasted coffee and soft-serve ice cream made with seasonal berries.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Kamoi\u2019s favourite view is the sun setting over the Toyoura coastline. One spot he recommends is Kamuy Chashi<\/em>, a geosite in Rebunge that reveals traces of an undersea volcanic eruption from around three million years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After exploring the Geopark, Berry Farm Toyoura is the perfect stop on your journey, enjoying fresh blueberries, a relaxing BBQ, and gentle moments with nature.<\/p>\n<\/div>
